Introducing: Free Quizlet Sets
Over 2,000 flashcards, available for free!
We have isolated some of the most essential material that is necessary to be a fluent reader and string player. This content simply must be memorized. To facilitate that, we have created several sets of flashcards on Quizlet, which we are providing for free!
For each instrument (violin, viola, cello, and bass), we have included sets of flashcards for beginning, intermediate, and advanced players. These cards include:
Notes on the Instrument (fingerings in various positions)
Notes on the Staff (note names in various clefs)
Key Signatures
Vocabulary
Beginners benefit from being presented with a limited amount of essential material, to keep them focused on the basics and lay a strong foundation. Intermediate students are stretched to learn different clefs, or in the case of violinists, explore the upper register. Advanced students can drill all major and minor key signatures in pertinent clefs, familiarize themselves with the upper register, and build fluency in essential musical vocabulary.
Over 2,000 flashcards are provided, FREE! Just click on the link below to enter your email and you will be sent the link to the Quizlet flashcards.
